Aim:

Develop a care pathway for the use of physical activity and exercise in the care for people with mild cognitive impairment including: - A patients development portal (using online and mobile resources) - A professional development portal (using online and mobile resources)

Research Overview:

This project will work with patients and their care teams to develop a new service pathway around physical activity and exercise for use by people with mild cognitive impairment. This is a Knowledge Transfer Project funded by the ESRC and the Alzheimer's Society.

Research Importance:

Maintaining cognitive function and preventing / delaying the onset of dementia are major challenges to our ageing society.
